    I saw Brennan Manning in Charlotte, NC in 2003, I think. I had a vision of myself as a little girl, in a white dress, dancing in a field of flowers for my Father God. I believed then that God had true affection for me.

    Somehow, I have lost the joy of believing that, of knowing that and it is my deepest desire to return to that simple place. If only desire was enough.
